A world class addition to a Dublin 8 tradition of healthcare

The establishment of the new children’s hospital will lead to a change in how acute health services are delivered in this country.  For the first time, the three children’s hospitals will come together on the one site and allow children to have all services in the one place rather than those with multiple challenges in their conditions having to travel between hospitals.

In designing this hospital, the project team is committed to contribute to our shared local community.  The new children’s hospital wants to be a good neighbour, and to that end is developing a master plan for the area, which will include shared amenities in and around the hospital.  Amenities such as playgrounds, cafes, sports areas and quality urban spaces both inside and out.
